Mission Statement
We strive to heal Native communities by providing routine veterinary wellness and population control for both large and small animals. Working through animal health to affect the public health of Native communities one animal at a time.
Our Purpose
Native Healing, LLC is proud to serve Laguna, NM and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service.
We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own animal, and giving them the same loving attention and care. We are a group of highly trained, experienced animal lovers who are devoted to giving our patients the best care possible.
Our Clinic
Dr. Tolani Francisco's ambition is to host “Wellness Centers” on reservations across the United States. A place where animal health is addressed but also offers emotional support and builds upon the human-animal bond in Native communities and truly work in the One Health paradigm. The “flagship is currently a garage on the Pueblo of Laguna, but an old house has been assigned for Dr. Francisco to renovate.

Dr. Francisco formed Native Healing LLC a 501©3 organization with board members from Animal Welfare, Veterinary and Human Medicine, Industry, Tribal, University and other non-profit organizations. The goal is to keep the work at a grassroots level and help where help is needed most.
Dr. Tolani Francisco
Native Healing, LLC is led by Dr. Tolani Francisco. A 1990 graduate of Kansas State University, she has had a lifelong passion for providing quality health care to animals. Being only the second Native American woman to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, she has always dreamed of opening a Wellness Center (not just a veterinary clinic or hospital) for her tribe (the Pueblo of Laguna) and other tribes. After 14 years of regulatory and military medicine, she obtained her Master of Science in Public Health degree.
